STARTING MONDAY 10 SEPTEMBER OUR APPOINTMENT SYSTEM IS CHANGING
The
Changes..
From Monday 10th of September the appointments from
8.30am til 10am will be pre-book only. Please do not queue
outside the surgery before 8.30am. This will not guarantee you
an appointment.
If you need an 'On the Day' assessment please telephone after
8.30am. You will either be given a face-to-face appointment or the
Doctor will call you back. If you are given an urgent appointment
these are 5 minutes long with the Duty Doctor only.
If you have any questions about the new system a member of staff
will be happy to help with your queries.
When you are given an 'On the Day' appointment you will be
seen by either a Doctor or the Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse
Practitioner can deal with a wide variety of presenting problems and
health care needs.
The Benefits..
More appointments to book
throughout the week, meaning more choice for you.
Book routine appointments up to 4 weeks in advance.

COMPUTER SYSTEM FAILURE - MONDAY 9 JULY 2012
On Monday 9 July 2012 there was a complete loss of all computer data.
This means that all appointments booked on that day for the future were
not recorded. If you have an appointment booked in the next few weeks that you
booked on Monday 9 July please could you tell reception who will put it into the system.
All appointments attended on that day were not recorded. If you had an appointment on Monday 9 July please could you tell reception who will check that details have been put in.
Your patience is appreciated over the next few weeks while we attempt to resolve the issues that will arise due to this system failure.
New check-in touch screen system
Our new check-in touch screen system enables patients to check themselves in quickly for appointments using the wall-mounted screen, which is located ahead of you as you enter the Surgery. The patient is asked a series of simple questions including date of birth and gender.
After successfully checking in, the appointment time, name of doctor or nurse and clinic location are confirmed.
For appointments with any of the Nurses, please proceed to the waiting room upstairs and wait to be called.
We welcome your comments on your checking-in experience.

Do we have your current contact details? Please inform us if you have
changed your address, name or telephone numbers.
